January 2019, Scott Faris of Amusement Park Studios and Galen Wixon of Lubbock Symphony Orchestra approached me to create an immersive experience with the Symphony at the Louis Hopkins Center for the Arts (LHUCA).

D.J. Sparr, Grammy Award-winning composer, and guitarist was the curator of the series. We performed two of his original works. It was excellent getting to hear a living composer’s music as well as create a video for it.

8 original videos were commissioned and performed using VDMX to directly sync with the Orchestra. I wanted to create the illusion that the Orchestra was controlling the video.

This was a sold-out show with contributions from florist Peter Keltz, Spectrum Lights, Amusement Park Studios, and myself.
